Xian and the terracotta warriors

Nothing more and nothing less than 8 hours of bus we had to put between chest and back to get to Xian, goodness it was all highway. More than 3 million inhabitants has this city and the bus left us outside, after the long journey, was having to catch us a urban bus and eat another hour more. As usual in any city in China, you can imagine how crowded that was, the three of us and our four backpacks were going like canned sardines to then eat half an hour walking among the crowd in search of our hotel this time if we had booked and that we are going to refrain from further comment, lol (what cheat many times the search engines and your photos on the Internet).

Many of you think that all we do this because we are a few travelers suffering or some super adventurous travelers as Noooooo, for nothing! All this hustle and bustle of buses and more was not missed one of the great wonders of China, the terracotta warriors. As important, so stunning, so desired by so many, that we could not miss them.

Apart from visiting the Warriors, he also played know something the city and between the crowd and the piece of heat that we decided to not very distant things, luck that although you hotel was not thing of another world, which was very well located, just 2 minutes walk from the Bell Tower and a little later the drum tower, almost in the Centre of the city of intramuros. Both originally from the 14th century, played the campaign at the dawn of the first and at dusk the second, impressive!.
Close we had also the Muslim Quarter, a swarm of streets "pedestrian-wagons" full of restaurants and street food very much dominated by the food of the North and West of China. Stroll through this area of the city is like delve in the bazaars of any city in the Middle East, but in China and with Muslims of Chinese race.
Although the main street seems the most tourist, it is where you can find more than one Western, the rest of alleys hide the traditional life of the people here and is where you can enjoy more of their environment. It was here where Alvaro passed it pump seeing as in butcher's shops, they cut the halal style meat. A good place to learn more about this minority in China and above all a great place to dine by the great variety of meals that are.
After relaxing sightseeing around the city, it was time more coveted, by which it had covered so many miles, played to see the terracotta warriors.

The best choice for convenience and economy is to go up to the station which is just behind the wall and attached to it to take the bus or bus No. 306 blue No. 914 that drops you off right at the entrance to the Park of the terracotta warriors, from the train station by 7 Yuan caught bus urban 201 up to the Bell Tower.

It is advisable to arrive in the early hours of the day and more if the heat thus made in summer can be embarrassing. The entrance is 150 yuan per person to the students applies them a discount of 50%.
The enclosure is divided into two main ships, which tend to fill up very quickly by that we recommend arriving early. In its surroundings are a square and gardens highly recommended if you are travelling with children to be able to stop and kids to rest and to play, since if they are very small can be very heavy to be here since they are all museums.
The ship where the largest number of warriors is rectangular and it borders completely, we advise you to do so instead of clockwise, since almost everyone makes them in this sense, having the possibility of going more relaxed.

Although it is a very interesting and impressive place, visit can become rather chaotic by the amount of people who visit it at the same time, so we recommend patience, bring water if it is hot and enjoy both the warriors and the city deserving much worthwhile. It is certainly a destination of China that you can not miss.
